
SEAMLESS STREAMING
MGM+ is a leading streaming platform with a broad line-up of exclusive hit series, jaw-dropping documentaries, and blockbuster films. In 2024, they launched in the UK as an add-on Amazon Prime channel and partnered with the digital marketing and social media agency GLOW to manage their US and UK social media accounts.
We were recommended to GLOW through a client that we had supported in the global expansion of their streaming platform, as they needed local marketing experts to raise brand awareness and add a spot of Britishness to their comms.
WIT was involved early in the process, so we could provide strategic recommendations, as well as select assets and craft social media copy that is culturally attuned so the local channels shine in the spotlight.
THINKING OUTSIDE THE BOX OFFICE
We initially worked on adapting their US tone of voice guidelines and social media strategy to tailor recommendations and make sure everything was tickety-boo for a British audience.
We truly felt like a local extension of GLOW’s team, adapting our workflow to their needs and using their preferred tools, from in-platform features to Sprinklr. We selected engaging scene lifts and crafted social media copy that would chime with their followers. Thanks to regular reporting and daily community management, we observed trends and gathered feedback from fans to showcase the best-performing content and amend the strategy accordingly.
We helped build their social media audience from scratch to well over 48,000 UK followers in the span of 20 months.
